HMS Started in January 2003. We currently have 12 enrolled members. Our members all take lessons and/or board their horse at Huntington Meadows Stable. As a group, our main focus is teaching and learning all aspects of horsemanship.
Well, after a LONG EXTENDED break, we are all refreshed and ready to get back into te swing of things!

This summer was rather exciting for our members! Our club hosted a Monroe County horse show. It was our first time hosting a show and it was a GREAT success. Also, All of our girls qualified to show at New York State Fair. But because all but one girl rode lesson horses who could not get the days off from our lesson program, we only had one girl from our club show at State Fair. Erica showed Mason in Training level Dressage and all of the Hunt Seat classes except for Over Fences. In dressage she placed 14th out of 32 and she did not place, but she made the first cut from 46 horses to 20 horses in 2 of her classes.
Another exciting event for our girls was the Novice Judging Competition at State Fair. We had 3 girls on the 4 girl team. Anna Ekeren, Jessice Riggi and Brianna Sulenski. As a team they placed SECOND in the state!! They also placed 7th, 8th and 9th individually. AND that was thri FIRST judging competition! GREAT JOB!
